Penn Cove Pottery is located in an historic brick building (a grocery store in the 1940's & '50's) alongside scenic Penn Cove, known around the country as a producer of premier oysters, on beautiful Whidbey Island at the north end of Washington State's Salish Sea. The pottery has also been a gallery representing numerous regional artists since 2002, and owner Steve Eelkema is a ceramic artist as well.  Unfortunately, in 2022 a semi-truck took a wide turn and badly damaged the building and the business, causing a temporary closure to the pottery and gallery.
